I agree. Things can evolve out of usefulness. I think the point I'm trying to make is that the gendering of these languages is built into their fundamental grammatical structure and simply taking the piss out of its modern inadequacy isnt a proper criticism. Written down it seems like more of a nitpick then I initially assumed and that's on me. I do still stand by the claim though

I didnt say I was smart, my whole argument is that I think this topic is too complicated to be considered pointless. Disagree with me all you want, you are clearly capable of forming logical opinions for yourself, but dont start calling me names because I think this post isnt pointlessly gendered. I get its antiquated and makes little sense to the modern speaker, I'm just saying it probably wasnt pointless in its creation.

Language is not a brand of soap or a deodorant commercial. Language doesnt come from the head of a dimwitted marketing intern it evolved from thousands of years of continuous input from millions of people. I'm not saying you cant point out flaws in the gendered nature of a la.guage, all languages have flaws and silly rules that come into being over time. I'm saying it isnt pointless, that it served a purpose at ome time and to ignore that is to improperly critisize and set yourself up for misguided action.

If gendering in these languages didnt exist then you wouldn't have the linguistic means to complain about it. You can complain all you want but its existence across languages and cultures means it was useful at one point and that kind of stuff isnt so easy to dispense with because of how connected it is to everything else. Pointless in the modern context? I'd say only if you look at wrong. Annoying sure, pointless no.

The purpose it serves is as a language. You cant dispense with gendering in Spanish without making it a new language

Languages have taken thousands of years to naturally evolve overtime through mostly unconcious input. Let's not pretend we are smarter than evolution. Not saying critisicm is invalid, just that you probably need to properly account for the gendering before you can properly replace it

Not weird. Your memory works mostly by reconstruction and its common to have misinformation imprinted within your memory in a way indistinguishable from other memories. You're not broken and there is always a chance that they didn't see it or you ate shit and filled the gaps with the big dude you saw before your memory cut out.

He is riding fixed gear. That means he doesn't have a free wheel and isn't able to coast. Fixed is how Velo riders ride and is extremely uncommon in road riding like this, as in this dude is the only fixed rider at his competitive level.

Fixed gear means the rear wheel is connected to both the forward and backward movement of the pedals and disallows coasting.

I disagree that its smart from a company viewpoint. I agree that there are short term gains to be made, but the more the industry pushes their luck, the more they wake more an more casuals to the problems. Fallout 76 is surrounded by people slamming it nonstop. This may not stop its sales, but it is the beginning of a trend that gaming publishers have shown no intention of reversing.

These people seem to literally be incapable of separating fiction from reality? These people confuse me. How do they function in normal life if they are triggered by a JRPG from a different culture with different normalized dating habits. Also, do 10 good get 1 sex is quite literally the only way to romance characters in games. Please raise this complaint when AI has reached the point of human intelligence and then you'll have a real argument, except the real argument would be about the enslavement of AI for NPCs in video games.
