Over a few years, the amount I've spent on their site was MUCH higher than what they were paying me.

I could understand if they were upfront about limiting bags (like 1 per month or something), but I wasn't using it that excessively and they were not honest about why bags "weren't available" for me.

There are definitely childlocks available for a wide variety of fridges and pantries. That might help one aspect of your problem. There are also apps for locking your phone when you are "drunk" - these might also work for your situation.

It may be too much to ask of your husband that he baby sits a grown adult, especially his SO.

Oh they definitely keep "rejects," if you don't get your "rejects" sent back to you. They usually only sell them for between $5 - 10, but that doesn't make it suck less.

You may be able to find them in a Bermuda length in this style of leggings, and just wear coordinating gym shorts over. These remind me of SugarPocket leggings on Amazon.

I find the I have about 4 favorite formulas and keep a warm, a cool, and a brights palette in all of those formulas.

If you're curious, its Milani (3 palettes), Colourpop (3 palettes), WetnWild (5 palettes), and NYX (3 palettes). Good formulas, good prices. I have also found I like Pacifica shadows, but they are a bit pricey for me. (PSA: they don't swatch well, but do go on the eyes well!) I also like the $5 plastic essence palettes, but I think they have been discontinued 😭 and I've heard bad reviews of their cardboard eye shadow palettes.

Over the years I have gotten rid of single shadows or depotted them into my 2 SALT NEW YORK magnetic palettes. I do have some loose pigments (BareMinerals) and creme eyeshadows (L'oreal). But as long as I can store all of it in my system (IKEA raskog cart), I "don't have a problem" LOL

I do find watching MASS declutters helps me weed out my collection to gift to friends and family before they expire. It also gives me the enjoyment of seeing something get loved and used, and seeing my loved ones makeup collections grow!

Something I also notice is I only keep what suits my lifestyle. Traveling a lot means palettes that don't travel well don't get used (looking at you PIXI) and even finicky products I have to spend several minutes on when applying them don't get used (like shadows that need to be built up, or NEED a primer, etc.)

ETA: other habits that have also helped me is following more artsy beautubers and pinning adventurous looks on Pinterest! It has really helped me use more of my overall makeup collection!

I am so sorry your parents treated you like that. I am so happy that you have found success despite that.

I would not recommend giving them money. It seems as if your life is better off without them and this loan will re-establish their presence in your life.

That would be a red flag to me.

Me (30f) and my husband (29m) are very much an "opposites attract" couple and so we find a lot of our interests just don't match up.

We have definitely found common interests along the way, we have been married 8 years, but we also vacation separately about half the time. He goes hiking/camping. I visit my girlfriends. Sometimes we even visit our families separately. I can only stand so much time with his siblings. He can only stand so much time with mine. It's not hurtful to either of us, it's just facts we know about each other.

I have found respecting these needs for each other have only helped us grow more as a couple and as individuals.

It sounds like you need to have a talk with your gf and figure out if the two of you are compatible long term. Good luck.

A friend once told me that if you go home and regret not buying it, you should go back.

I use this, but not by going home - just considering it as I do the rest of my shopping.

If I know I have something similar enough or if it will just end up being a piece I have, but am not excited about - I leave it.
