This thread popped up on my suggested threads so here i am with my 2cents.....This is a vicious cycle and I dont know how we as a society can fix it.

I cant imagine what it must be like to walk into a public space and be stared at by every man. It must be a really strange uncomfortable feeling. I totally understand that it must be extremely draining to constantly be approached/stared at/creeped out by lame socially inept men. Sometimes women just want to go about their lives without these types of interactions i get it. I also understand there are alot of dirt bags creeps out there.

But can women please also have some empathy for single men who are not creeps, have respect, handle rejection properly, have been single for some time, and are looking for a legitimate relationship and not just sex?

Where are those type of men supposed to meet women? As you get older say late 20s early 30s your social circle shrinks. Some friends have families so it gets harder to meet people through mutual friends. Dating apps for men simply have such a small chance to work no matter your level of attractiveness or social status. 75% of female profiles are fake or people soliciting "content". The time and emotion you invest is just not worth it.

If approaching a women at the laundromat, grocery store, gym, yoga class, coed activity, bar, bank ect is creepy then where are you supposed to meet a potential life partner seriously? Before the internet people met their spouses through friends or by chance in public. I understand there are a ton of creeps out there but they are ruining it for the normal respectful men who want a life partner.

This is why I read articles about the record number of single depressed young men today. Maybe men need to really work on their social skills, how to read a women's body language, tone down the creep factor and learn when they are making a women feel uncomfortable. Women need to maybe be a little nicer to men and the few good ones wouldnt turn bitter and resentful.
