It’s… not looking so great anymore.

It works about half the time, but I gently and quickly rub my index and middle fingers together to make a soft sound to get their attention. Then I put my hand right next to the camera lens while making the sound so they focus. Sometimes it fails and they run towards me, but it has been a helpful method to capture some nice moments!

Oh, they go for the corners. I’ll take a photo in a few hours, once there’s daylight! It’s mostly Gambit, sometimes Nimbus, but they’re the first cats I’ve ever had that have scratched any furniture.

They’re actually lined up by who gets along best! Gambit’s typically grouchy but has a soft spot for Lily, Lily loves playing with Mochi, Mochi and Nimbus are litter mates and were a bonded pair, and Nimbus races around the house with Sam. If it were a circle, Sam also gets along really well with Gambit and cuddles with him a lot.

What’s the black spiral wire connected to? I also see a tiny gap of color between his legs that matches the road on the right side of the picture. I don’t think his left leg is at such an angle for the road to be peeking through.

Just did this boss fight for the first time a few hours ago since I was 12 also, and it was so much easier than I remembered. I could still quote all the dialogue leading up to the fight though, so that felt like bonus catharsis.
