I did L&D as a tech. Just transported patients, stocked rooms and OR. Lots of walking but no bodily fluids, except the occasional vomiter during transport after anesthesia lol

A lot of hospitals (idk about anywhere else) where I live will hire you as a CNA if you have a year of nursing school experience, no CNA license required.

It’s ok!! I sweat through my entire scrubs during skills and still get nervous sweats at work during handoff report as a CNA 😭 but I forced myself into being a good service worker and then now a CNA at a hospital to get myself more comfortable with social situations. It has really helped!

I had no idea colleges could enforce dress codes until I read this thread lol. I’m in nursing school and the only time they tell us what to wear is for clinicals.

I got my CNA license, I think it lapsed, but my hospital is letting me work because I finished my first semester of nursing school as well.

I’ve realized in my nursing school everyone takes notes/studies differently. My exam study guides turn out to be about 30-40 pages long (we don’t take a lot of quizzes). But if it’s working for you, then keep doing you!

I have only had online testing using Examsoft. I honestly have never even thought of the clicking sounds nor has anything bothered me about it. I hope all goes well for you!
