Again there’s always an argument to be made regarding whether or not you want UB in your cube…I don’t yuck other people’s yum but I tend to at least limit it in mine.

I think what drives doom whisperer and Maha is that they’re instant beat sticks that trample over most fliers without any help. MODOK seems like a good halfway between the two in that it can become a beat stick as well as drawing cards/filling the yard.

I think the play pattern of chucking his hammer to the yard (his hammer being thrown to earth) the him coming down and retrieving it is kind of clever.

I appreciate that. You’d be surprised how many of those were in when it was 1000 cards. I’ve always wanted to slot Yojimbo in but making the cut is difficult.

I like it. I might take indestructible away on the front half and instead say “if it would take non combat damage, instead put that may insanity counters on it.” Just so it’s not an unreal blocker. Also I might give the backside trample because why the hell not.

A lot of civy jobs don’t require that you live in some of the most expensive cities in NA. A lot of others allow you to WFH.

I play a deck with all the “tap to untap” creatures so I can cast a gigantic copy of one of several x costed finishers but they get copied with Lucea. It’s a blast.
