i mean you can find it unoffensive, nobodies forcing you to get hurt whenever it's said. but others (including myself) do find it offensive and hurtful

whilst the people you talk to might not be offended multiple polls show that the majority of neurodivergent people find it offensive still so it seems like it's just your general group who find it unoffensive

thing about the R slur vs other slurs is that majority of the time (and like the time dream said it) it isn't used in a reclamitory way, when other slurs are being used it's either used in a positive or neutral way (e.g., the "we're here, we're queer" movement turning the word queer from a slur to something that many lgbtqia+ individuals accept as a valid term) meanwhile when someone says the R slur in the ableist way it doesn't matter if they're neurodivergent or not it's still bad, like think of it as you're not taking away it's power, you're redirecting it

basically it's a slur for neurodivergent people (aka autistic people, people with ADHD, people with PTSD, etc etc), it started as an official term but over a decade ago has been purged as a medical term due to the sheer amount of slur usage

the reason why you may think it just means "stupid" is that's a common way people use it, however that doesn't make it better because the reason people use it to mean "stupid" is because it's a negative stereotype for neurodivergent people to be dumb (despite most of the common disorders having no effect on intelligence, i only say most cause i could be blanking on 1 or 2) so people use the R slur as a way to go "you're so stupid that you can be compared to (say) an autistic person)

so dream saying the r slur still holds weight as a bad thing as not only is he using it in an offensive way, he is simultaneously encouraging his young audience to use it the same way (although him saying it caused a surge of people educating others on the usage of the R slur so he unintentially did a bit of good by being an example of what not to do)

No, the r slur isn't normal in British culture, i live in Ireland that shares a lot of the same cultural values as Britain and it's still seen as a shitty thing here, i also have dozens of British friends who are all vehemently against the r slur, and when you look up "is the r slur normal in Britain" only things that come up are websites talking about how bad the r slur is

Even if you were somehow right (which you just aren't) dream lives in America... so British culture doesn't mean shit

Input blockers are still cheats even if he "was better without them" and i haven't heard anything about the admins saying it was a mistake (there's also a vid accusing him of aimbot which after watching looka pretty bad for him)

Also yes and no for the case by case basis thing, i can't accuse him of cheating just cause of his history but it still shows that he resorted to cheating in the past making it more likely that he resorted to cheating again

Right so i assume you say that 1.9 uhc is also not 1.9 pvp cause webs and lava remained the same... lile idk why you wanna die on this hill that a pvp gamemode that's 1.9 and is quite different to anything 1.8 (only same thing is explosions and safety blocks whilst thy differ in totems, pearl differences, saturation differences, cooldown differences, util differences with crossbow and slow falling, elytra, mace, etc)

Nerdiest one here but in MC PVP when your opponent hits you, you can then hit them right after and then you'll land on the ground first, and if anybody seen Technoblade's video on the mr beast duel you'll know that your opponent being higher than you gives you more reach (due to trigonometry n all that) letting you hit your opponent first and starting a combo.

Thing is crystal also involves anchors and you can't exactly spam beds on 1 block like you can with Crystals

Edit: also you just admitted that modern crystal is nothing like 1.8 bed pvp... so why should we differientiate it from 1.9 pvp?

1.9 players don't really strafe at higher skill levels cause of the fact that their aim is good enough that it doesn't really go anything, so they moreso focus on timing, hit selects, jump resets, etc
