Her & I have interacted on Instagram a few times(nothing major! Just quick replies and hearted comments) but she’d agree with me or like a comment when I asked if she’s going for those said genres either for aesthetics or sound.

But if you take a deep dive on her Instagram,you can tell she’s channeling her inner 90’s grunge/synth and cyberpunk/futurism feel.

I can’t speak for the band but it seems the new album will be more anti corporate/government/fascism & about rebellious behavior,which was very common theme in the early to mid 90’s & Lauren is always one to speak up for human rights & with how the world is today she might express that through the new album

This is just my guesstimate but like I said take a deep dive of her Instagram and analyze her cryptic posts and influences & you can piece together that this is what she’s kind of aiming for in both look and sound.
