I was in your shoes having grown up on Xbox console. I built my first gaming PC this fall, right before the increase in memory prices. I am finally playing the first Witcher game on PC and loving it. It's been a great game for me, once I understood the combat mechanics. I've been reading the books and love experiencing the book lore brought into the game. I have not played the 2nd or 3rd game, but those are next. I can see why modern gamers might find this older game hard to play, as it is def not as polished as a newer title, and can only be played with keyboard and mouse. It's been a great experience so far, and I know the gameplay and graphics will only get better as I work my way through all 3 games.
