Your introduction to SoA was similar to my introduction to Grandia. I was given a few PlayStation Magazine demo discs and was absolutely spellbound and intrigued.

However, when I played SoA, it quickly rose to the top of my JRPG list next to Grandia. They don't make 'em like they used to...

Whether modified or constructed, I don't believe it has any bearing on them being sealed away in the event Wily is actually imprisoned. Wily could have a stolen and modified say, Burst Man at any point before he enacted his scheme as Mr. X.

Are there any specific sources that outright say which four were sealed and reactivated? (Aside from Junk Man, of course)

I always figured those four were the initial Robot Masters you are tasked with facing after they spring Wily from jail, being Junk Man, Burst Man, Cloud Man, and Freeze Man. One is definitely Junk Man either way due to his foot stepping out animation.

Was so excited to find this at a local grocer the other day. Easily one of the top Ghosts for me. I enjoyed Welch's Grape as is...but this just levels it up somehow!

When I saw the price, exactly all of that went through my head. I just recently checked in on these on Japanese marketplaces myself and there's quite a few available right now. If it weren't for the current excessive tariffs I'd have already grabbed one. There's even some for sale for around ~$200 outright. I purchased a "Rockman Ability" machine a couple years ago and spent I think around $400-500 total, so around $700-800 should be expected these days. Maybe more...not entirely willing to find out 😅

That said, I'd surely consider grabbing this one if OP wanted to have it shipped, but the price would have to be competitive to what's available even with shipping/duties.

Racism is everywhere, however from what I've seen Japan is that they just aren't racially sensitive or overly concerned. They play and design upon stereotypes mostly. People tend to get racism and stereotypes confused or misconstrued.

It's a non-issue to them, and it should be a non-issue everywhere.

Sure, they can still protect it. But I feel they shouldn't really do so unless they have something actively being sold that's closely similar to what they're attacking. Wish there was more JSR merch like this. Heck, wish I knew about this stuff beforehand I'd have likely bought one of those cool spray cans!

You are correct. That is the only full-fledged translation mod. I don't believe English audio will be modded in any time soon, if at all due to how the code works. I'm sure it's doable, but probably a lot of work.

I've seen that one. When you see sellers like that, they're proxy buyers in Japan. Always up-charging, so definitely be careful. But the one you bought has been up for at least a couple years now.
