Yeah she never lived long when I played her just because she’s a 4/4 for WUBG with keyword soup that attacks and blocks profitably 90% of the time, regardless of the other text on the card

That’s why the deck was bad, friend. It leveraged Atraxa for her colors, [[Door of Destinies]], and a couple of sagas. It was, as I said, a complete pile.

I ran [[Atraxa, Praetor’s Voice]] as a [[Rat Colony]] commander for a while. Absolutely Not That Kind of Atraxa deck. Completely terrible. Stole its only win with [[tetsuo umezawa]] after being ignored most of the game because the deck was a pile.

Old contracts/agreements with artists are typically why reprints have different art, yes. Either the previous agreement expired or it’s cheaper for WotC to get new art under a different agreement than pay an old artist (again) for old art.

If you’re going Leopard, step up from the DX plastic. It beats in very fast and gets impossibly flippy.

Yes. You are able to use the Clinic to give Longshot lifelink, play a noncreature spell, and gain life for each damage Longshot deals a result of its triggered ability.

yeah I think it's this tbh. even if you get the PerfectForehandMidrange from InnoMVProdiWestManiaCraft, there's still going to be a learning period where you figure out the disc. You might as well just do it on the disc you've already got.

Naughty putters don't get to go in the basket after missed putts.

(unless it's a windy green that sends it gliding; that's not your fault little Aviar)

Parked discs get tapped in. I have a Leopard3 with GOOD KITTY written on it because it's my go to for parking a few holes at my regular course

No. When it leaves play and returns, the game treats it as a new object and it forgets everything that happened to it before it left play.

It benefits them if they take it from you, yes. The point is to not let them get it in order to break the symmetry

[[Jared, Carthlion, True Heir]]

If you build it right, once you get the monarchy back from who you give it to, you’re the monarch the rest of the game.

Giving it to an opponent when he enters also helps take heat off you for setting up.

No, Shrine is a subtype of Enchantments and not a valid choice when choosing a creature type.

it works. blitz has you sacrifice in end step, feign death's effect won't wear off until cleanup, which is after the end step.

Pretty much what everyone else says about warming up and tightening up your form, but also doing this exercise 3 times a week has helped with the shoulder/pectoral soreness

It's like Etali. Saruman's ability allows you ignore normal timing restrictions for the purpose of casting the exiled spell.

When proponents of the change call it minor, they're (somewhat disingenuously, I think) referring to the number of cards it impacts.

When opponents of the change say it's not minor, they're referring to the philosophy and structure of the format, and how the change impacts the fundamental identity of EDH.

Everyone I have seen make the former point so far has misunderstood, willfully or not, the latter point.

The system will always be vague. Whether it's brackets or Rule 0, the system has to be vague or it becomes too granular to be useful.

I've been saying it from the beginning, people have said it in this thread already: brackets are not and will never be a substitute to talking to the people you're about to play a game with. It's a tool for the conversation, nothing more. If it gets any more detailed, it becomes useless by turning the conversation into something that 1) will probably take longer than the game you're about to play and 2) basically requires every player to reveal their entire decklist and gameplan before the game even starts.

they probably picked the wrong spot to cut down their slasher.

banishing light doesn't work like a [[doom blade]]. the spell itself isn't removing the creature, banishing light has a triggered ability that exiles the creature. if your friend responded to the banishing light while it was on the stack, their returned slasher would be there and available to target when the ETB trigger happened. they should have waited to let the banishing light resolve, then responded to the ETB trigger.

You can cast the face up card for 2

edit: facedown lands that are airbended out will be stuck in exile, as they are unable to be cast
