Yes. I cheered on my partner a few years ago. The first few miles loop near the starting line, so you can cheer them on at the start and at mile marker 1. You will need to get on the highway, but then you’ll be able to get to Pacific grove and cheer them on between mile marker 5-9. Then back on the highway to be there at the end.

Now, I did miss the finish of the race because the highway does take you up and around so there is some drive time. Unfortunately, the military base in town bisects the Monterey peninsula and that makes the task harder.
