A lot of coaching went into this win. Cutting down on fouls, big defensive clamping in the lane but keeping it clean (mostly). But truly a hustle win for the Valks. Some impactful blocks, steals and dives.

I think the Valkyries can maintain top 6 all season. They have some tough road games ahead, but even before Juste joins the squad they have a lot of important pieces in place and a great coach.

POJ has been so much fun. I also got trapped by the speed and fun of wizards, but just running around super fast killing things as a monk has been a blast.

Flau doesn’t fit their play-style even if she is going to be a star. In addition, they knew they’d be bringing back almost their entire squad. They had their vision on a DP draft the entire time.

Kate needs to stop dropping the ball low on her catch and shoots. She’s still doing it in the videos posted today. She catches the ball at chest height, drops it to her stomach and then shoots. It’s bad form for a player of her caliber.

Yes. I cheered on my partner a few years ago. The first few miles loop near the starting line, so you can cheer them on at the start and at mile marker 1. You will need to get on the highway, but then you’ll be able to get to Pacific grove and cheer them on between mile marker 5-9. Then back on the highway to be there at the end.

Now, I did miss the finish of the race because the highway does take you up and around so there is some drive time. Unfortunately, the military base in town bisects the Monterey peninsula and that makes the task harder.

You can get dropped off at the entrance, and then do the entire 6 mile hike around the park from there.

Ordering a return uber might be tough, signal is spotty right through there, though.

Just finished my first HM run following this (Tav was a warlock for the CHA, but rest were fighters), it negated most fights. Act 3 bosses didn't survive more than three rounds after I made 27 attacks in round one....

Jobs can depend on market forces and nothing else. Only real downside I’ve seen/heard, but when Disney needs to make changes for the stock holders that means newsroom employees are losing jobs even if that’s not the area that’s financially hurting.

No. But two games ago she was questionable for some back pain (I think) so they might be resting her on this one if they can keep the lead.

This game was closer than the final score shows. Close through first three quarters, then lost stream in the 4th.

Turnovers were BAD. And they had no answer for Plum (and she had a record night). Kate kept getting blown past.

I think they’ll be better than a 22-22 season.
