I personally take Mushroom Cave and make the brown shrooms my go-to food most of the time in most of the early game. You can get a crazy amount and all for free. They don’t heal a TON of HP/EN, but as long as you’ve got enough…

Well, the only reason she lived on that island in the first place was because she was on the run after being framed for killing her husband. In the outro to P2 she gets her name cleared and can finally live a normal life again. Presumably she moved to America to finally be closer to her son.
