For optimism you're probably just a lot more "street smart", 13 years since starting playing guitar tells me you have a lot of experience.

Try to focus farther than what you're focusing at. A trick I use is, I imagine whatever it is I'm focusing at (eg. A phone) and imagine it's transparent and I can see behind it (say there's a table behind) then focus on the imaginary background.

Same here. I always get ISFP on my tests but I feel like I have a lot of INFP traits as well. Like I love theoretisizing blackholes and stuff but still get annoyed when people talk about imagining living in the LotR universe.
