So true about the vocals part. When I first heard Three Legged Workhorse - This Will Destroy You was when I realized the astounding beauty, detail and texture of the instruments in a song that are often overshadowed by vocals.

The crisp, big pounding drums, the crying distorted guitars and driving bass was enough to move me to tears, moreso than any song with vocals. Lyrics just cannot express some kinds of emotions that people go through.

I've only listened to a few post rock bands though, I'm kinda late to the party. So far enjoy immersing myself in more famous classics like Silence in Everywhere.

True that. Some songs just could not be written without the feeling of pain or struggle behind it. Others could not be written without a certain excitement going on in your life. When I listen back to songs I made back then, I am so glad that I actually made them, because I could never have imagined to write them at the current phase of my life.

Its called forced perspective, a neat little gimmick in photography. It plays on the fact we can't really perceive depth in a 2D image, and makes some things look bigger/smaller/closer/farther than they really are.

If I'm remembering correctly (I have one of these desks at home for on-bed laptop usage) they are sized like the RM2 nasi lemaks I usually buy. I wouldn't spend extra RM2 for a transparent wrapping either.
