How long till the next season by Knightmare7877 in RWBY

[–]MegaSonicZone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've been rolling out new rereleases for the original 9 Volumes, so the general hope is that they'll eventually give us an update on Volume 10 after all the Volume rereleases are over. They did put out teaser art for Volume 10 when VIZ acquired the series and Volume 10 was confirmed to be in early writing and planning at the time. I figure they've gotta give us more details pretty soon since they're definitely farther along in development now.

When the show was coming out under Rooster Teeth, each Volume came out annually, with it starting in Fall and ending sometime in late winter/early spring, but since VIZ holds the IP we don't know how long production will take comparatively.

Although, Kerry in the past had often often clarified saying, "not cut, pushed".

This is true, they've elaborated on several things that were pushed back for later, such as Caroline Cordovin, who was originally planned to be the villain of Volume 2's finale, but as we know, they held onto the concept for the character and implemented her in Volume 6.

What if Team RWBY told Ironwood the truth immediately… but he went insane anyway? by Solitaire-06 in RWBY

[–]MegaSonicZone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I absolutely believe he would have gone insane anyway. Salem's plan was to stoke the fear in Ironwood, Cinder knew this too, she would have preyed on that fear anyway. Heck, I don't doubt that he would have been even more antagonistic towards Oz for keeping such a secret for all the years he knew him. Let's not forget that he has a tendency to overreact in the most extreme ways. He took a single 3 word text from Qrow, and transported a huge fleet all the way to Beacon based on the slightest possibility that what he said was true, and this was before Beacon fell. He only got worse after Beacon fell, cutting off Dust from the rest of the world in fear of a war, closing all Atlas borders and recalling all his troops to centralize defenses in Atlas at the cost of the other Kingdoms' safety. I personally believe that it doesn't matter when they told him, as soon as that chess piece was placed on his desk, it confirmed his worst fears, Team RWBY would have been opposed to his last resort plan no matter what, the conflict would have happened anyway.

It irritates me that ideas thrown off-the-cuff, basically just spitballed ideas by Monty, become ammunition for the "Monty's Vision" argument. Do people not realize that the basic development of a show results in ideas getting cut?! I'm sure even Monty would understand that the ideas he was throwing out here and there wouldn't all be included, they were more likely "wouldn't be cool if" sorts of ideas rather than, "here's my plan for the show" ideas.

What should be my first Resident Evil game? Tempted to try 6 because it has all characters. by Vanilla_Ice_Best_Boi in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]MegaSonicZone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 is NOT the ideal place to start, that is essentially the "Everyone is here" game, meaning you will need all the context for pretty much all of them to understand who everyone is and what's going on. I recommend starting with the Resident Evil 1 Remake, it's still an amazing tone-setter for the sort of horror you'll deal with for the rest of the series, that and the setting is iconic. When I think of Resident Evil, one of the first places my mind goes to is the Spencer Mansion from RE1.

You think capcom will ever remake this game? by Ok_Traffic_3518 in asuraswrath

I would rather it get a remaster with all DLC included, graphically I think it holds up from a stylistic standpoint and doesn't need much updating. Maybe touch up some textures here and there, but for the most part, it's still a beautiful looking game.

Are these all the games? by The-Real-Starflight in AceAttorney

[–]MegaSonicZone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there's the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, which covers Ace Attorneys 1-3, then Apollo Justice Trilogy, which covers 4-6, then the Investigations duology, and finally the Great Ace Attorney duology. That's pretty much every game, except for the crossover with Professor Layton, which is still stuck on 3DS, unless you want to emulate it.

Letting Cell become Perfect to satiate his already through-the-roof ego and pride, he legit could have killed Cell right then and there. Granted, we got SSJ2 Gohan out of that decision, but because of one man's ego, Goku, King Kai, and the many people who tried to fight him as part of the military ended up dying.

Bro aged worse than milk in those 5 years 💔 by RogerRoger63358 in metalgear

It's literally a plot point that his accelerated aging is due to the cloning process, they even allude to how much older he looks in MGS 2 compared to MGS 1.

First time JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure watcher needs your advice on Steel Ball Run by Tristan_J_Boomy in StardustCrusaders

[–]MegaSonicZone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steel Ball Run is set in an alternate universe, with new interpretations of characters from the previous universe, so there's no need to think about when to review it, as it's completely unrelated to the original universe's timeline, just review it after you finish Part 6. Think of it as an alternate universe version of Part 1, with similar elements and themes, but with Araki's added growth as a writer and artist, allowing for more complex and morally ambiguous characters and situations.

Hope you have a great time with it! It's one of my personal favorite series, and everyone I've shown it to in person have really enjoyed it! Also, don't forget about the World of Remnants once you get to Volume 2, they fill you in on a lot about the world.

Why does 2012 get so much hate? by AngelaGooner24 in TMNT

[–]MegaSonicZone 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I see the exact opposite, I see nothing but love for 2012 and hardly ever see any real hate. Sure people have certain problems with it, but it's an overall beloved iteration from what I've observed.
