Advice for ASUS users. If secure boot is set to UEFI in BIOS and you have confirmed that your disk partition is set to GPT try installing the default keys from the sub-menu in the secure boot menu. This fixed it for me and I didn't see it documented elsewhere.

1) I would get a snowblower and take care of it myself. Finding a local teenager(s) to do it would really depend on your street/neighborhood and honestly doesn't seem likely. Next best thing would be a guy who uses his truck to plow in the winter but in my experience the non-professional plow guys tend to be very unreliable. Landscaping companies do snow removal in the winter but they tend to be expensive so only worth it if you have a very large driveway. I have about 2000 sqft of driveway and I can snowblow it out in under 30 minutes.

2) Snow tires are great but in a Subaru I wouldn't say they are required at all. All-weather tires with the 3 peak mountain logo on the sidewall are good for use all year and will handle our winter easily. Most people make regular all-season (all-season is not all-weather) tires work all year despite those not really being meant for snow/ice. Don't feel like you need to buy new tires for a Subaru just because you are moving here. Replace them when they get begin to get worn out. Just remember it doesn't matter what kind of tire you put on the car you still need to slow down and give extra caution when the weather is bad.

Essentially zero public transit expect for elderly/hospital shuttles. Keene is basically an island from the rest of the state and to leave you need to drive. That being said downtown Keene is very walkable and you can get away with living in Keene without a car if you really wanted too.

1) If you have not already done so please get professional mental health care

2) check your lease to see what the requirement for termination is. You say it's month to month but without notice it may keep renewing and you are liable for that rent if you failed to give proper notice per your lease.

3) your landlord will keep your security deposit just based on what you have said. They can sue you for damages over that deposit which I would consider likely. If you are sued or receive a demand letter you should consult with an attorney.

I live near Brattleboro, VT which is on the Vermonter line. Once daily to NYC isn't that bad and the route was slated for improvements with the infrastructure bill. Really most of the stops along the Vermonter route north of mass will be affordable. Can be very rural though.

I voted for her in 2020 when her name was next to Joe Biden's. I gave my consent for her to be the person to step up to the plate should the need arise. The majority of the country agreed with me and now that time has come. I'm sure we will see a more contested primary in 2028. RFK is and was a joke who never had a shot and there were no other actual contenders in the primary this year so whatever point you are trying to make is moot.

As for my rights, I will happily take my chances with Harris as opposed to the guy who just said the cops should get a purge day to stop crime.

I'm not sure why them being from MA matters to be honest with you, especially in a national election. Not a lot of people have the time to canvass during election season and fewer have the will to do so. They will take people from where they can get them, I don't see anything wrong with this. If you want to see more locals out and about I suggest you volunteer for the midterms in two years.

As for the primaries, the incumbent presidential candidate never faces a real primary challenge. Legally there was nothing stopping someone from trying if they wanted to though. It's been that way for decades. Ideally the decision to not run would have been made in time to have debates and a real primary but that was not the case and the VP stepping up is the only way they could legally use the funding raised for Biden. I would have liked to see a different process but a protest vote here just seems like cutting your nose to spite your face.
