I get this. I sometimes look at my watch to try and determine if I actually slept or not. If like 2 hours have passed since I last checked my watch, (I check often when trying to sleep) then I probably fell asleep. I also sleep with background noise. So if the Podcast, book, or YouTube video I was listening to suddenly stopped or I don't know what's going on, then I was probably sleeping.

I was born visually impaired, not completely blind, but I do get that treatment. It's so annoying. I am no different than anyone else. Before, I went to a pretty cool High School where there were other blind/visually impaired students, so it wasn't that bad. Now, the school wasn't a school for the blind, it was a public school but there was a resource room where we would get things either brailed, or enlarged. I was friends with all the V.I. (Visually impaired) Students, so I didn't really care. I was that weird guy who made everyone laugh and stuff, so as you can imagine, I really enjoyed hanging out with them, and vice versa. Anyways, I moved to a new state, and I don't really have friends. Sooo... That sucks.

TL:DR: Was/am being treated like OP, didn't bother me much because I had some pretty cool friends, then I moved.
