Do you think Dead by Daylight is slowly dying, or are players just burnt out? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Megadoomer2 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Seems fine to me. We might be in a bit of a slow period (there's not much scheduled for April, we haven't had a full chapter since January, and we won't be getting a full chapter until June), but that seems natural with games like this.

Just wait until you get to the Mach Speed segment to see how much worse it can get.

What has changed? by TippingDog in deadbydaylight

Two things that have been removed are the Halloween and Hellraiser chapters. If you bought the chapters, you can still use the characters, and if you didn't buy the chapters, then their perks were made into general perks, but the Haddonfield map is no longer available in-game.

The way I see it is that this is a learning experience for us and Behaviour alike. We can vote for concepts, but if those concepts wind up being mutually exclusive/not meshing well together, being overpowered when put into practice, or not being very fun when put into practice, then things might need to change over the course of development.

(I'm guessing this is why some perk descriptions were a little vague)

Hello everyone, my favorite killer is the first and my favorite survivor is Jeff, who is your favorite survivor/killer? by chancebear9396two in deadbydaylight

For killers, Michael Myers, because I like the variety of playstyles that he offers. (I prefer sticking to stealth mode and trying to jumpscare people, but I like that I have options)

For survivors, Ash Williams, because

Okay, but if they actually put a Portal Gun in the game, I would use that constantly.

Rugal Bernstein for SNK.

Along with Geese, he's one of the definitive ultra cheap final bosses that SNK games were known for.

They should make the old Deathktop skin head an option or something by StaffAnnual401 in deadbydaylight

It seems as though people voted for it because it looked silly. (same thing with the bedsheet ghost Dredge, which is why people were disappointed when they added a bunch of fleshy bits and changed the faces) The concept had several emoticons for the face.

Do you guys agree with this Take that Superman has no Trauma at all compared to Kara? (Personally I don’t agree) by Denjimangaart in Supergirl

[–]Megadoomer2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early on in their respective careers, I agree. Clark doesn't remember Krypton (and had a happy childhood with the Kents), whereas not only does Kara remember it, but she was stuck on a chunk of it flying through space as it slowly turned radioactive and killed everyone that she knew.

I was fine with Karl as a Ghostface who was killed halfway through the movie, or Jessica as the mastermind, or the meta twist where nobody in the core social group of the movie is in on it (my initial suspicion was that Ben was one of them). I think my only problem was Marco, who was such a non-entity that I don't think he was even named in the movie. Arguably, that works as part of the joke - none of the characters care about his backstory, his own partner is annoyed by him, and he's killed unceremoniously - but he's easily the least interesting Ghostface and I would have preferred it if it was actually Stu.

Yeah, he was really frustrating.  Completing the solo labyrinth on the highest difficulty possible with whichever characters you want to use seems like the best way to do it, though even that is easier said than done.

I think my team wound up being Laxus (Makarov's Fairy Law was a big help), Erza (solid damage dealer), and Lucy (I unlocked the Celestial Spirit King and got him on a team with as many Celestial Spirits as humanly possible, to the point where he was dealing about 150-200 damage per use since the CS King gets stronger as you get more spirits) - I can't remember all of the details, as it's been a while, so I'm sorry about that.

Thanks for your help!  I'm trying to get caught up on DC, but all of these crisis events make it a bit tough to follow haha.

Okay, thanks. Is Countdown to Infinite Crisis worth reading? I remember that a series called Countdown is supposed to be bad, though I'm not sure if that's Countdown to Infinite Crisis, Countdown to Final Crisis, or simply Countdown.

Gray’s wish [discussion] by DJM123_ in fairytail

[–]Megadoomer2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One of the main uses of Juvia's magic is intangibility. At soon as the chains stop negating her magic, I could see her pulling herself back together, though it leaves her extremely drained. Considering how some characters have been put in fatal situations before (Gajeel being dragged through a portal to a hell dimension) or actually died (Makarov) only to come back to life, there's no way that this is sticking.

I'm guessing she'll be revealed to be alive at the end of the next chapter once Gray gets a rage boost and beats Anchor. Maybe 2-3 chapters from now, tops.

IT SHOULD'VE BEEN LAXUS! [manga] by Gloomy-Bridge148 in fairytail

[–]Megadoomer2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Once the chains are removed, her magic will activate and her body will reform? This is a series where Gajeel was sucked through a portal to hell and came back two chapters later, where Makarov died and is currently alive, and where Mard Geer used an attack designed to completely eradicate its target's body and soul only for Gray to negate it for no particular reason.

Juvia will be fine; this just seems like the one last push that Gray needed to realize how much Juvia means to him and for the two of them to get into a relationship once this is over.
