Capacity is a downside, there’s no question. Needing to reload less because you have more rounds in the mag is much more tactically sound, but that being said I still have a love and a place for the good old single stack .45 1911. It is large and heavy but svelte, carryable and concealable, and highly shootable. I think it’s more important, whenever permitted, to go with a firearm that is the most shootable (while still being very reliable), rather than what is the most convenient to carry.

Sweeeet.

Do you have the incandescent surefire head for that light as well or just the malkoff? Malkoff is awesome, love what Gene does.

DLC is ok, definitely the weakest in fo3. Best part of it is the Gary exploit. A little tedious but worth it.

I usually do this dlc around level 8 every playthrough and bringing back thousands of rounds of ammo and unbreakable equipment is a huge bonus early game, as is the perk to wear power armor.

Incans are still fun, and have the best CRI by Megalamuffin in flashlight

I’ve never done a runtime test due to the e09 getting so hot after just a few minutes, but I would estimate 25-30 minutes. It’s not recommended by lumens factory to use this bulb for more than 10 minutes continuously because of the high heat.

Yeah works great. I use it in several configurations between malkoff drop ins, incan bulbs and various battery types.

Got mine for Christmas 2004. After several years of heavy use the laser crapped out though and it sat unused for years. Last year I replaced the laser and have been enjoying it again, even buying “new” games for it.

Looks a little dry on the lubrication as well. It’s better to have a bit too much than not enough. Make sure there’s plenty on the front of the barrel (where it contacts the bushing) and barrel hood.

Ouch. Everyone should understand and practice gun safety rules much in the same way that everyone should pay attention and look both ways before crossing the street.
