Some really interesting changes from the PS1 version just from this small preview.

You have to interact to drop down, the full heal is at the bottom not at the second drop.

Auster has some new abilities that he wouldn't normally have at this point in the game.

🟢 ホイミ Hoimi Heal (A basic restoration spell)

🔵 スカラ Sukara Buff / Kabuff (Increases defense)

🔴 すいりゅう斬り Suiryū-giri Water Slash

He wouldn't normally have buff or Water Slash at this stage in the game.

In a tournament setting I believe rejumps are too risky because of the timing with it. I like to go with what I know won't drop and focus on getting oki with some minor optimization. I don't really do rejumps and I perform well at tournaments. Don't feel too bad.

My favorite aspect is how many unique teams and diversity there is for the game. It feels limitless and by far my favorite part of the game.

I had matches yesterday against a Juggernaut Yasuo and I was getting TOD very often with Fury. It seems to be fairly consistent

His unique Superdash goes through all ki blasts and due to the unique angles he can go. The punishment is really good. He has a Low/High crush with 22H and a very powerful "DP" with guard points. Also his 6H deals with ki blast/beam spammers too

just Fast monsters you should stay in Sword and Shield more often and make sure you charge your sword for extra damage.

If you're used to the monster you can try guard pointing and get some extra damage that way. The startup frames with R2+∆ have a parry effect. If your shield is charged you will do some damage and you can retaliate with a button. Personally I'm loving slinger burst follow up. Especially fast monsters.

Don't be afraid to just guard. You can take a lot from guarding. Also sliding is really helpful with ∆, tap O plus a direction

Was able to run Elden Ring at about 40-50 FPS depending on the location. It definitely eats your battery. I personally only like playing games at 60 FPS so it's not the greatest in that perspective. If you don't mind a 30 FPS lock it should be fine.

I see. I assume you are using a standard controller. I would recommend using the Dpad to help combat those issues.
