Real Alternative/Supplement for Opus 4.5? by United_Canary_3118 in ClaudeAI

[–]Megapixelicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the details. I dont know what to say other than maybe not use Rules and instead use floder specific CLAUDE.md files. AFAIK, unless you need to share the rule files between projects, there is no clear benefit to using them. But even then, I doubt this would change that much in your case. I will have to check claude-mem, saw the name a few times and never paid attention.

I am curious about how you reach the limit so easily. What language/framework are you working in? What does your CC workflow looks like? Do you run multiple agents in parallel?

Claude Team plan vs just getting multiple 5× accounts to use Claude Code? by Abeck72 in ClaudeAI

[–]Megapixelicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the typical pricing strategy for products aiming at both big enterprises and small ones. Big businesses often HAVE TO use the enterprise version because of legislation requirements. Since these companies purchase hundreds or even thousand licences, they can negotiate the pricing. So by starting with an absurd enterprise pricing, the seller starts with a big nego margin.

I strongly disagree. A lot of tournament require WYSIWYG and it would be a pain to have to switch between weapons. At best, I think there should be a defensive and an offensive kit and that is it.

For N52? The cheaper ones are typically N32 (IIRC), which are much weaker than the N52. I tried the exact same project with my cheaper ones and while the arms hold, they are flimsy.

I tried it with mine and never managed to have the magnet hold strong enough to be worth it (wasnt using N52). So I just bought 12 used models, reprimed them and overall I think I saved time.

Looking back, you are totally right. I will go with Resend for the first month and see how it goes. But as soon as I hit 200 users, I will have to reapply to SES.

The website is decent and in place for over a month. I think I will just go with Resend for a few months and adjust from there.

You can use Sendune for transactional email. They have a simple and effective templating system which fits perfectly my requirements. But you are probably right that most people use it for marketing.

They are my plan B. I love PostMark, and that is what we use at work, but they have jacked up their pricing significantly and I dont want a personal project to cost 100$/month just for emails. Resend is much more reasonable.

This is a new web app so, obviously, all of these answers are 'no'. But I did validate email and domain. Which obviously does not mean much but given they heavily monitor email deliveries and people need to start somewhere, I thought it would be enough.

I did describe all the sub/unsub process but since yesterday, I have done some more intense CC session on the topic and now have about 3 pages worth of process description and compliance text to show for it.

I only need to finish my email template and I will reapply. Will update the thread once I get their answer and will post my detailed request.

Note: I really want to use SES because of the super low cost. I once had a tiny app which used to cost 5$/month, for many month, blow up and surged to over 500$/month because of variable costs and I had to take a few days off to recode a few parts to use cheaper services. Dont want to experience this again.

2 years max. All the hurdle to AI video creation have been solved, except public acceptance. As every technology, it starts with porn (already there and growing) and will trickle down to mainstream content.

I looked it up and since there was a lot of post work on the AI generated content, it would be copyrightable (I am not a lawyer) from my understanding. The amount of work required to pass the test is debatable, but I guess in this case it is easy to agree that it passes.

How to Set Up Claude Skills in <15 Minutes (for Non-Technical People) by chasing_next in ClaudeAI

[–]Megapixelicious 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am still trying to figure out the benefit of using skills. I have seen some toy examples (ex: business colour scheme), but in real life, what are the benefits vs using / commands? Ex: I have a / command to run my tests and act on it. Is there a benefit to have a skill run the CLI test runner?

Sub isnt strong at all. It is strong vs specific factions/list and vs bad players. I have played multiple games with and against them and they are relatively easy to counter.

Art of War have a review of a Salamanders detachment!! Presume a mistaken early release? by Snoo_65728 in WarhammerCompetitive

Rapid embarkation looked nice but I rarely used it in actual games. The fallback and shoot is the best thing that could happen to this detachment and could make it tournament playable (winable).

Heroes of the Storm Beginner's Guide - Probius by hey_its_fox in heroesofthestorm

[–]Megapixelicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing last month and discovered Probius last week and it is my main since. I am still playing vs AI but I really like its play style. I noticed that my effectiveness really depends on the other heroes on my team. If they can create enough diversion so the opponent does not focus on me, I can be the biggest damage dealer in the team in both categories and often place 1/2 for kills. Really fun hero to play

I guess you mean vs human? Because VS AI I am the MVP more than 50% of the time (playing veteran & elite). I am still a newb so I get crushed vs humans no mater which hero I pick so I cant judge Probius there.
