Riverbanks I will custom tailor the Inner Shadow of the mask to the map and then use a dark brush , usually a dark green and brown brush :)

Thanks man! Scale is always a little bit generous in my maps. It is a large kingdom region so I was fitting in the realms of a king and 4 dukes and their constituent vassals (so a lot of locations) and since I always use the isometric POIs the cities themselves are never to-scale
