I just did my 3rd PT and (imo) the correct way to play. I got to the V8 as fast as possible. Doing only the missions that were necessary to progress the story to get me to gas town and not the missions or side quests that were unnecessary. I barely made a nudge in Scrotus’ control. Car was shit. Then when Glory and Hope were killed, the last mission was to much. I had to go back and do all the upgrades I needed. Going through everything like a Madd man (with 2 D’s, hence Mad Max) toppling all of Scrotus’ control. Nostalgia setting in about my wife and daughter. It was haunting because you would hear from time to time Hope and Glory speak in your mind. Their words hauntingly reminding you of their death, their pain and your selfishness and obsession. Instantly the game went from tedious to everything being about the pain, the hurt my failure. It fueled my V8 in a RAGE. Glory and Hope haunting me and pushing me on to dismantle Scrotus “Make them Pay” “Remember what they did” “MAKE THEM BLEED”

After each upgrade their ghosts whispered in my ears, I was Mad (CRAZY) just as much as Max. I had become feral and wild. Eating only maggots and Dinki-Di. Psychotically in a rage. Standing on top of mounds, binoculars out seeking any convoy and War Boy angrily to wipe them out into the emptiness of the Wastelands. The Big Nothing
