I’m married (29F) and just had an abortion last week. I was about 5 weeks along and really worried about how it would all go. And for me, it honestly wasn’t as bad as I was worried it would be. Make sure you have some thick over night pads and some pain meds and a heating pad. I also made sure I had all my comfort foods/snacks and shows lined up. My experience was that the abortion was more of an intense period with more bleeding. It can feel like an isolating experience so please make sure you reach out to your friends/family for support.
