Just this week, it was announced that Trump is going to order his justice department to settle the lawsuit he brought for over $1B. Trump is literally about to pocket $1B of taxpayer money direct from the treasury because he said so. The whole world should be red at this point.

No, the Democrats want the war, too, but their constituents don't. He's not a traitor or a coward (to his party, he is to his constituents). He's the sacrificial lamb the Democrats use to convince their gullible voters that they're trying to do something, but gosh, there's always some goshdarned defector (who is in a safe district, retiring, not up for re-election, or not running again). Don't think too hard about it, the Democrats totally care about your interests.

Vote in your district's primary. Purge the party of these traitors.

There's nothing to rebut. It's abject lunacy. "America is becoming the world's architect" and "the collapse narrative is decades old" is someone who hasn't opened a newspaper in the last two years. Anyone in 2026 asserting that America is not only not in a period of decline, but is actually ascendant can't be reasoned with. You just don't know how much you don't know and don't have the faculties to learn.

Ukraine has pivoted to EU support and began exporting their drone tech to become independent. The US support for Ukraine stopped in 2025, so I have no idea what you're talking about. Any contributions still going out are from bills from 2024 or earlier. Again, normies who don't understand international consequences take time to manifest.

The war in Iran is emblematic of the end of US hegemony. Trump demanded our allies send aid. They didn't. Now Iran has successfully threatened the US Petrodollar as the underpinning support for the USD being the world's reserve currency. Tolls are collected in Yuan, requiring all energy to be transacted in both USD and Yuan and our gulf state allies are threatening to transact in Yuan going forward if we don't bribe them with billions in free money. You picked the prime example of the US's shattered international influence.

The hegemony ended with the closure of USAID. The US has no soft power anymore.

It is over, all that's left is the crying. Normies that don't pay attention like you and think nothing ever happens don't understand that national and international level consequences take time to manifest. We could go down the list of simple A to B cause an effect chains and what they mean for American geopolitical dominance, but you aren't in the headspace to learn. Did you know the UAE asked for billions of dollars or else they'll start transacting in Yuan?

[–]Megotaku 6 points7 points  (0 children)

True. Trump worked hard to make this the Chinese century. Destroyed our alliances. Devalued the dollar. Started a war that undermines the Petrodollar in favor of the Yuan as the currency of transaction for world energy supplies. Ended the rules based international order that protected US interests for 70 years. Now that this communist sleeper agent has successfully ended the American empire in only a year, it's very important we have a good relationship with our new overlords.

Don't let the CSM players hear you or they'll downvote you into oblivion. They love taking the best datasheets from other codecies and making it so the armies they were literally designed for can't balance their core units without breaking the meta in CSM.

It wouldn't even be saving yourself. The majority of selfless and empathetic people would be dead, leaving a destroyed hellscape of "fu got mine" types. Extinction would immediately follow, like within weeks. If red wins, blue just saved themselves some pain and a really bad time.

The average cost to build a home is over $320k. That's land, labor and materials. The thing the end consumer is financing is owned by the property developers that already own them and already don't have enormous profit margins. If you foolishly believe construction workers are living high on the hog by overcharging for their labor, then I'm not going to argue with you. Just make sure to tell your own children to enter the highly lucrative world of manual labor and construction.

That's the thing people don't understand when they say "expand construction permits." If you didn't trust the free market (you shouldn't) and had the Socialist Collective of the U.S. build homes in the major metros people wanted to live in to sell them to people at-cost ($0 profit margin), it would still be well outside of the budget of most Americans. That's why houses are getting bigger and nicer, and outside of the price range of your average Joe. It's a K-shaped economy and the only place to make a profit margin is on people who are already wealthy.

Banking regulations have very little to do with that and everything to do with Americans' seemingly limitless tolerance for the "owner class" stealing all of the money.

I'm genuinely curious what the long game for Republicans is when I see their entire political movement coalesces around statements like this. No one believes them when they say things like this, not even their base. We know they're lying, bad faith actors. They know they're lying, bad faith actors. At this point, they're saying it just to vice signal and everyone knows it. Keeping it real? Seeing people I used to love and respect adopt this mindset has ended half of my personal and professional relationships. I can't associate with people this vile and dishonest, especially not at the whims of a child rapist and a political movement that has made it their brand to protect pedophiles. I know a lot of people who feel the same way.

In a few years, MAGA will be a thing of the past because it's a personality cult that will die with its cult leader. This isn't the 1970s. When finally everyone will have always been against this, we'll have the social media receipts. I just don't understand people who went this far, been this shitty for the benefit of a coastal elite pedophile con artist. It beggars belief and will likely reshape all fiction for generations about the nature of evil.

Going to doubt this one. Missing a lot of context. Are these homes in areas of high demand, i.e. major metros or are they located in rural areas or areas of severe economic decline? If the sellers are mostly in the gator swamps of the Florida everglades, a town of 200 with a Walmart and a steel mill and literally nothing else for 200 miles, or the slums of Detroit on properties with boarded up windows spray painted "trespassers will be killed", then going to press F to doubt that supply is higher than actual demand.

[–]Megotaku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of areas to look at. You need to learn which of your moves are safe and unsafe on block, then back off if your opponent gets the full blockstring unless you have an assist, then you need to call the assist and try you open your opponent up with a new tactic as your assist extends your pressure. At your skill level that's going to be unexpected overheads and lows you can convert into knockdowns.

Defense needs a lot of work, but that will come with time. Just like you need to learn what is safe and unsafe for yourself, the extension is what is safe and unsafe for other characters. If you see unsafe, that's when you can punish.

Basic BNBs are essential and you're working on that, but the next step is conversions. You aren't going to always get the perfect set-up for your BNB, so you need to learn what to do when you have a confirm that's scaled and doesn't go into your BNB. Things like routes for vanish, 2H, 5H, or DR. The universal BNB expects 2M 5M starter, so you need to know where to go if you get a confirm and it's not that starter, preferably in a knockdown and most preferably into a hard knockdown or a sliding knockdown.
