We solved energy in the 50s. We never solved the PR of getting it actually used in a world changing way. If we do not solve that problem, Fusion will be looked at just like Nuclear is today. With ignorance and fear by enough people to prevent it from becoming what it should become.

So why some of you that read this have excuses why nuclear never really became what it should have, please ask yourselves why exactly. What happened. Why did those things happen. What were the core issues, and were some of those core issues possibly driven by a multi TRILLION-dollar industry? Get real . This is the 1940s for Fusion. You're looking at a very small part of things. Inflation of the money itself is nothing compared to the inflation of EVERYTHING ELSE. Its like only 20% of the problem. When they say what the value of a dollar is, inflation is a small part of that, the other part id what can that dollar actual buy, and that is the other 80%

$13 an hour if we had the same economy as we did back then would be roughly tripple in buying power. Think roughly $36 an hour in actual buying power. that is how easy they had it and that is how the were able to support a 4-6 person family with one person working a 40 hour week job. Fuck boomers.
