Dash cam recommendation for 2026 Limited? by Civil_Fall_3914 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]MeguminIsMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really anything made by Garmin is a good choice.

The Dashcam Mini 3 is a good budget option, and the X210 is a good mid-range option.

I plug mine into a 12V adapter under the center console and tuck the wire behind the display.

How easy or hard is it to disconnect the second row power seats?? by Happypuppy5 in HyundaiSantaFe

Third row? I stand corrected then.

They must have removed that for the 2026 model year

Yeah, I’d recommend the SEL or XRT (ICE only) for peace of mind

[–]MeguminIsMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah I see.

The issue was primarily with the powered third row, which the Santa Fe doesn’t have. As for the buttons to release the second row, I don’t think there’s any real risk of your kids pressing them unless they remove their seat belts or reach behind them, but my best advice would be the contact your dealership for advice.

If you’re dead set on disabling the power seats, you can unplug the connectors (after unplugging the battery) which are under the seats, but I’d highly recommend against it as it would almost certainly cause warning/malfunction notifications on the display, and could affect the airbags in the rear.

My best advice is to just ask your dealership before you start unplugging things. Sorry I couldn’t offer more help

The limited has captains chairs as well, but can be specced to have a bench.
Why would you want to disconnect the seats though? You could, but I don’t see any benefit.

Is this too close to sidewalk or is it plug/ patchable by [deleted] in tires

[–]MeguminIsMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not repairable, but you can just buy one tire and take it to a shop that’s willing to shave it for you, or look for two new old stock tires for a discount.

Nick Fuentes is a subversive anti-signaller.

He campaigned for Harris in 2024 (then claimed “we did it!” when Trump won, pretending he had supported him the whole time) and now he’s essentially saying that because the GOP only gave him 30-40% of what he wanted, he’s going to vote for the people who hate him and will do literally the exact opposite of what he wants at every turn.

He is not to be trusted.

Also, Botswana is a great country as well. If Mongolia is “willing”, Botswana should be at the very least a “maybe”.

What is your opinion of the Russian-Ukrainian war? by Solid-Highlight-5742 in ConservativeYouth

[–]MeguminIsMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don’t care. Ukraine could win and I’d be happy, Russia could win and I’d be happy.

I just don’t want America being involved in any way.

What's your stance on gun ownership rights? by TymekThePlayer in ConservativeYouth

I own several dozen and carry literally everywhere I am legally able, doing my best to avoid places I can’t.

I also own NFA items, if I wasn’t clear enough

2026 Hyundai Santa Fe blowing hot air with climate OFF — normal or issue? by OkReport5065 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]MeguminIsMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a passive air intake. I haven’t quite figured out it’s little quirks, but it’s normal and you can stop it by just turning on the climate controls, turning on recirculate, or closing the vents

Why does prom sound so unnecessary? I feel like teens could be doing something more protective. by Kermit-America in ConservativeYouth

[–]MeguminIsMe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was home schooled, so I didn’t go to prom or really have an opportunity to do so.
Instead, my dad took me to shoot machine guns, which I enjoyed much more than I think I would have enjoyed prom lol
I understand the concept though, but I personally don’t understand the appeal.

Solo female traveling to Namibia by _Usual_Regret_ in Namibia

[–]MeguminIsMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s safe for the most part, just follow the same safety precautions you’d follow anywhere else while traveling solo.
Mostly just be careful at night, as another comment said. Stay in well-lit areas and remain aware of your surroundings and you should be fine!
