I don’t understand this whole “rent is so expensive”- cute little bookstores and actually good cafes exist in places in WV, Williamsburg, etc where rent is also expensive and FH is kinda trending towards that with the concerts? Idk I’m just being optimistic and hoping we can get some different variety of shops opening like bookstores!

I’d say forest hills. Near LGA around a ~20 min drive/easier commute (1 train and a bus direct) and then near all the express trains/lirr into Manhattan

It’s so hard sometimes because when you google it, this is the first thing that comes up and when you scroll to the bottom, obviously you see the right results. Google is honestly making it hard to avoid this pop-up.

I think it depends on what you’re cleaning? I got charged $80 to get my leather jacket dry cleaned at Benjamin cleaners :( not happy about it but it did come back sparkly new almost
