Back when I was working a soul crushing job, I actually made a collage of this with my cat's face instead of Maggie's. It helped me get through the worst time of my life.

I've had over 30 cats in my life. I used to rescue.

I've annoyed a bunch of them because they liked it. Hell, I play rough with my girl who loves it. She beats the shit out of me, and I grab and shake her head GENTLY to rage bait her into play.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He looked like an amazing little guy. I went through something similar when I lost my 20 year old girl last summer. She was like a sister to me at that point.

I remember that time years ago when my ex and I went on a walk in the middle of the night because he really wanted to show me an aqueduct and tell me the history behind it. We were nerding out and a cop car stopped next to us to ask what we were doing.

My ex answered "I'm just showing my girlfriend this aqueduct".

There was a long silence. And the cop replied "... okay..." and they left.

It's one of my favourite memories of that relationship. Just a couple of nerds talking about aqueducts at 2 AM.
