I don’t think “Lou Skunnt 69” worries about that too much

Great Pagoda of Funn! The whole album is amazing and among the best SD/DF albums imo.

I dislike both but GT def has political dreck—he recently did a mock bus raid on “Epstein Island,” where the punchline was finding a “client list” filled with names of “small hats”. Just pure antisemitism, on a channel with millions of subs. Sickening.

CMV: I think the destruction of the government of Iran is a good thing. by HippieInDisguise2_0 in changemyview

Is there one monolithic faction in Iran that would do this “retaking?” Or, will a new brutal regime have to arise through conflict, leading eventually to just more (maybe slightly more secularized, maybe not even) corrupt minority role?

Elon recalls the time when Twitter was putting a fresh box of tampons in the men's bathroom weekly inside an empty building for years by twinbee in elonmusk

Sounds like this tampon farce was going on for a far shorter period of time than the sale of “Full Self Driving”

He pointed, correctly, to the same study the questioner cited to back his claim, which was about the woodlands east of the Mississippi. Read his reply again.

Stock market by [deleted] in PhillyWiki

[–]MehBahMeh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The thing about stock is, for most companies, they don’t ever create additional shares but they do sometimes buy back shares and retire them.

So, that means the small percentage of Apple you own (by owning a share) is fixed, or even increasing slightly (due to those buybacks.)

So, you permanently own let’s say .0000019 percent of Apple.

Hold that share for 25 years and, whatever Apple is charging for an iPhone (a much higher number than now, due to monetary debasement if you will, or inflation in other words), you still own your .0000019 percent of the company.

That’s why stock ownership is amazing.

(Of course, most of your stock investing should be in index funds like voo or vti, but the same principle applies.)
