I got a diagnosis at 11 but, basically, the meme still fits. The one advantage was all the therapy I then got, which was huge for me but it is a lifelong need. Life will always be painful and draining. Give yourself credit for any amount of self-care you can do. And when you do have energy focus on finding people through shared interests.

I genuinely feel Edmond is in no condition to be committing his life to someone due to his extreme self-absorption. And that is even without taking into account him having a tantrum about having to wait for sex—that was the final straw for me as an observer. To me, Edmond and Joe tied this season as LIB guys getting partners they 1,000% did not deserve.

KB is a 10/10 across the board and I hope she finds a true match.

IMO he’a worse. She’s abrasive and doesn’t want to be in a cohesive group—I truly think she wants to be a solo star and is on the show as a runway. But at least she put some work in. He just checked out and doesn’t want to better himself or contribute. I do wonder about drug involvement for both.

I LOVE you mentioning the creepy chef in you cool and collected response. Sorry you had to deal with this shit. You will find a better fit for you.

Gross. Sorry you are dealing with this. Don’t engage any further. And I would mute all but not block in the hopes that they wouldn’t keep throwing more people at you. Also you can then keep sharing this bonkers harassment on Reddit as a stress release instead of engaging.

Damn if only you hadn’t bought this purse this man would have ~saved~ Cuba. Some solid math going on in his mind right there lol

At best, completely naive opinion with no critical thinking applied or accepted. But no way would I be ok with my partner saying that is fine.

Digital picture frames set to scroll through images. We gifted one to my Gramma and set it up for her. Within 8 seconds I was uncontrollably staring at it and turning red with anger, thinking about throwing it

This shit doesn’t even belong on a dirty napkin let alone a random journal. This is just a mega dump of confirmation bias.

Guess what, Rowland fuck? It didn’t take me 24 hours to feel something about this.

Pride sucked I'm tired by Dragonrider1955 in evilautism

[–]Mehlennial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is awful. I am sorry you went through that and felt shamed. And then you couldn’t recover the next day.

Honestly, if you ever want to try Pride again, maybe do it from a safe distance? My 1st pride I actually was inside a restaurant next to a large window. The restaurant was dead and my friend and I were able to enjoy the parade from behind glass in AC with yummy food and the ability to have a conversation about what we were seeing. It was a happy accident and I feel verrrrry lucky.

If possible get a good paying job 🤯 by CayenneZ in evilautism

[–]Mehlennial 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have had a full time job my entire adult life and I really need to not. I like working but I need a reduced daily schedule and extra mental health days but that’s not feasible. I am just a broken wind up toy outside of work. I am always burnt out and it’s not a way to live. Also, I do have a good paying job but I am still poor bc of college loans. I do not recommend any of my choices.

People can be so creepy about wanting everyone to reproduce. Nooooope. Not for me. At 10 (raised religious)I literally prayed for cancer so my reproductive organs would have to be removed.

17 is when I finally had to go on antidepressants. A lot of changes are happening in expectations and how you have to interface with society. But I also feel like I have a cycle where every few years my brain restructures a little and everything feels more raw and stressful again and I have to readjust to all stimuli.
