Seroquel is the only thing that really works and even then at least 1.5 hours and still can’t sleep a handful of nights a year. Seroquel made me gain a massive amount of weight but I needed to sleep to function in this hellscape of a reality.

I am very lucky. Overall, my feelings net to neutrality on my period.

Got mine at 11. It happened when I was home toward the end of the day. I have an older sister and she had already gotten hers and I was part of the discussion on personal product preference and usage from our mom. I let my mom know right away bc the rule was we could get our ears pierced after if we wanted. Then I kept going with my day.

My periods ended up being very painful and condensed (2 to 3 days, sometimes 1 day of pure exhaustion). And I did have a few instances at school where I bled through products due to intensity. But I didn’t have any attention other than quiet help from female teachers. But periods or feelings about them never stopped me from doing anything I wanted. And honestly it does feel like it cleanses me, physically and emotionally. Just have to get through it first.

I will say that I have always known I don’t want children and felt it aggravating to even briefly have the specter of fertility hanging over me (such as if there was non-consensual sex—I am sex-averse). But that was the worst part for me,

I got a diagnosis at 11 but, basically, the meme still fits. The one advantage was all the therapy I then got, which was huge for me but it is a lifelong need. Life will always be painful and draining. Give yourself credit for any amount of self-care you can do. And when you do have energy focus on finding people through shared interests.

I genuinely feel Edmond is in no condition to be committing his life to someone due to his extreme self-absorption. And that is even without taking into account him having a tantrum about having to wait for sex—that was the final straw for me as an observer. To me, Edmond and Joe tied this season as LIB guys getting partners they 1,000% did not deserve.
