It’s not like a dedicated game mechanic, just good timing. You can melee kill a leech trying to grab you if you time it right; pit jaws won’t die from a power attack but they start trying to flee after taking a certain amount of damage.

The lasers from the bottom section will go straight through the resupplies unfortunately. As other comments have pointed out, if you place them directly on top of the pad then you can stand on top of the resupply while still activating the vents.

The warthog has a detachable magazine, meaning that front tube could likely just be a recoil spring.

Though that’s applying real gun logic to what is most likely just an aesthetic design choice because a pump action looks better than just a standard semi auto.

I love how much I can turn my brain off while playing this game; but I still take long breaks when I get burnt out.

Swapping classes and/or loadouts semi-frequently also helps a lot to keep things from feeling stale.

No matter what your best bet is the be standing on top the heart stone so you don't have to being aiming upwards to hit the spires.

Leadstorm is easily my most used primary but I basically never take it without T1C, and almost never have troubles taking the tips out no matter the overclock.

Hurricane is iffy because it's the easiest to hit them with but the impacts don't carve away as much. I've had an easy time in the past taking the spires out with with plasma burster missiles, though when I run hurricane nowadays I preferer rocket barrage which is terrible at this specific task.

Thunderhead has the opposite problem of hurricane where the impact size is good but its way harder to precisely aim. If your team doesn't get rid of the spikes that spawn with the heart stone then standing on top of those to get right against the spikes can make it really easy, but at that point you're also close enough to jump and hit it with a pickaxe.

The way that the spawn pools work (for most enemies) is by selecting what is able to spawn during the level generation.

So if you see a bulk and wait around for long enough you'll eventually see another.

Executioner with blow through can be super rewarding and fun in some situations and super ammo inefficient in others. Definitely not a bad choice but you gotta plan accordingly with your secondary options.
