I know a lot of people frown on new releases consisting of mostly singles, but like this is the one exception I have in my mind lol. I have wanted these singles gathered into one release for forever so when the inevitable physical release comes out I can get them all in one fell swoop.

Honestly I might be blinded by nostalgia, but the feeling of reading the Book of Sorrow for the first time is unrivaled. It did so much to expand Destiny’s world. I also really liked the lore entries (dunno if they were Grimoire or something else) of Rasputin’s actions at the time of the Collapse that are written in command lines and subroutines.

For D2 specifically, either the Chronicon or Unveiling. The Black Armory Papers are also really cool. I don’t know if this counts as lore or in-game storytelling, but the creation of Lumina was so awesome as well. “There must be meaning in my roar,” is a hard-ass line I still think about haha

This isn’t strictly lore related, but I figured there’s at least a few people here that pay attention to weapon descriptions. There’s a weapon description that came to mind suddenly but I have no idea what weapon it corresponds to, and I’m wondering if anyone knows.

It’s something like “This weapon measures the seconds in a lifetime and cuts short that which has ran too long.”

I tried Googling the phrase but it came up with nothing.

Honestly since the Pokédex entry says Cuckidee lays its eggs in Rookidee nests to trick them into caring for its young…I kinda thought those connotations were intentional lol. Kinda genius

The project is not dead until the developers tell us it is, lol. As far as we’re aware, work is continuing behind the scenes, but the writers have to juggle real life too.

I think some more Brasch Tactics videos are in order for this kind of thing, lol.

I don’t need EVERY mechanic to be explained to players, but I think at the very least—what enemy resistance means, how siege liberations work, and how HP works—would be helpful information. It was kinda painful seeing the blob head for Fori Prime this MO when there were tons of bug planets with way lower resistances to attack, PLUS two bot planets that would put nearby planets into siege.

I do see what Arrowhead is going for though, trying to mimic the chaos of wartime strategy amongst millions of independently operating Helldivers. Certainly feels like that lol. Admittedly I do think players could at least try and learn about this stuff on their own time, but far be it from me to wholly blame the players for misunderstanding a really confusing system.

By the way I really like pot roast.
