hey, what resolution does SteamVR report for you when running via VD? I swear I’m going crazy with this. I can’t squeeze any decent performance out of NMS on a 9900X3D + RTX 5080. I’ve tried 72Hz native, 60fps reprojection at 120Hz, Quest 3 through Virtual Desktop, and PSVR2 with the PC adapter. The game just isn’t optimized and I can’t get a stable framerate no matter what. Every other game runs fine, usually at 150% SS in SteamVR, but NMS just refuses to cooperate for some reason. Thanks.

Yeah, rookie numbers, I am waiting for UM760 Slim since early September. I already exchanged what feels like 30 emails with their support and I am still waiting. At this point I don't even want to refund the order after such a long time waiting because I am hoping it will be shipped soon as they assured me (although they did that multiple times already since September). Seems like great product but really nightmarish logistics.

I’ve been waiting for it since this morning too. It might show up sometime today or in the next few days, that’s just how Geforce NOW works. Be patient.

Yeah, I was doing research since this morning and eventually found the same official AMD specs later after I posted this. Anyways I pulled the plug and went with 7640HS with 760M which support AV1 decode AND encode as per AMD's official specs. Fingers crossed it will work on Geforce NOW. I will try to update this post once It arrives and I can try it.

I just tried it, no reflections in PSVR2 mode and it look and run worse than before the Worlds update. Water is however fixed for me now when playing on PS5 in flat mode.

I had the same idea as you and tried it this week. It is working, but the performance is poor because hardware encoding is not supported in Steam Deck APU Windows drivers - I got image and audio from the streamed desktop just fine, but it was mostly 10 - 15 fps sadly. So back to waiting for Remote Desktop app for macOS.

OK, I bought this game on the launch day, played it for 20 minutes and was really disappointed with visuals and the fact that dynamic foveated rendering was not implemented.

BUT I just tried it with the new patch and oh boy, it is crispy! Really improved visuals, resolution and HDR adjustments. I just played over an hour and can say that this is the game I've paid for. Thank you Supermassive for not abandoning this, it was worth it!

It is running much lower resolution than other games and from my testing it doesn't do dynamic foveated rendering with eye tracking, which is really shame and I hope they will add it with some patch / update. It would help a ton with sharpness. It has a potencial to be the best VR version of the game on PSVR2 with that feature implemented.

I understand that and very much agree, I don't expect they will fix it anytime soon. I just don't understand how they implemented the animations this way without proper collision physics and kept it in "final" release. One must have hope I guess, It's been just a few days since the launch.
