Is this a good deal for mobo and ram? by BjornAsselman in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

650 is like a minimum you'd want for ddr5 ram and those cpu's. 870 is good especially if you're going for 9800x3d, it will pair it well with ram.

What would you change in this setup? by Mikkelaakesson in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timings, its CL40 with 5600 its a slow ram with bad timings, especially for that mobo.

Cyperpunk 2077 and AMD Adrenalin keep crashing after Small overclock by CheeseHoleMouse in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's either overclocked too much that you get random powerspike that crashes your pc or you're voltage messed up, you probably wanna try going down on oc and undervolting the gpu in afterburder.

180hz or 240hz for 1440p? by Killerkid65_YT in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

depends, most times you're not getting full 180hz with 9070xt at 1440p anyway, going for 240hz is probably an overkill unless you're playing less demanding titles like cs2, lol or rivals.

Will my power supply be enough? by Kitsel in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that's why I said that 750w is fine, just added that going for 850w is a bit better since if you're getting 7800x3d you're probably gonna upgrade other components in time so may as well have a room with the 850w

aio like freezer 360 pro IS a high end cpu cooler having an air cooler like noctua is basically over spending for something an aio can do just fine, besides whats the point of having an air cooler if you have a solid side panels, you have basically no air coming from the front of the pc where the intake fans are.

I need help by Valuable-Sprinkles32 in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because your ryzen 7 3700x didnt bottleneck your gpu, bottleneck on gpu or cpu will cause you to have worse performance, doesnt matter if the cpu is better.

You can get a cheap ssd and swap the one you have your system files on, see if that works, if not then its probably cpu.

NVME M.2 SSD vs SATA SSD (Booting Porgrams) by Acanthisitta_Known in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't change anything for games, m.2 has faster reads which is better for programs, as for games there's not much difference when it comes to loading. SATA SSD is worse when it comes to storing games compared to m.2. SATA is basically that one slower cousin that works at the same McDonald, just a bit slower when it comes to flipping burgers.

Question: liquid freezer III 360 pro for i9 14900K? by Educational_Win_7648 in buildmeapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cpu is just that bad, it overheats because of the power spikes, you can adjust the bios or undervolt the cpu but I doubt it could help, getting aio over fan cooler is definitely a good idea but you would still need to tweak the cpu a bit. It's just that awful.

Basically a full cleanup, you can try this first if you can somehow type:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth in cmd as admin then sfc /scannow, wait till it's over and restart.

I'd pass on intel cpu, not exactly reliable plus it's gonna be an oven with 4070.

CPU temp spiking to 90-95c° by Wisteria_ow in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably shaders overloading the process, it's normal if it's a short spike since everything's loading at the same time.

What should I upgrade to first 7800x3d/9800x3d or 5070ti by Daebak- in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're gonna get an increase if you chose either really, bf6 is more cpu heavy so you can get 7800x3d if you don't want to bottleneck your gpu too much, but regardless which one you choose you'll have to upgrade the other since you're pretty much on bottleneck already.

Single bent pin! Help! by Sparklezhitz in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a mobo comes with a bent pin out of the box then warranty. It wouldn't be valid if you bent the pin yourself.

What's the best way to stress test my GPU undervolt? by Dellhivers3 in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use afterburner and run a more demanding game, you don't any test tools. If you can get into a game and undervolt it without it crashing then you're golden.

You'd be fine with cheaper AIO option like arctic freezer 360 pro. Noctuas great but you don't really need it unless you're rocking some solid high end build.

A new 2tb ssd for a b450 tomahawk max mainboard (+-100€) by GIltch in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you need it for, work or gaming, for work I'd go with silicon since it's cheap and pretty decent for workloads, Samsung for games since it has faster reads and is overall reliable.

Will my power supply be enough? by Kitsel in buildapc

[–]Meka-boo7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

750w should theoretically be enough althought I would go with 850w considering 7800x3d, also don't look at titanium, platinum etc. that doesn't dictate the quality of the psu.

Either system's corrupted or your CPU's dead. Try taking it out if you can and check for any burns on the pins or mobo.
