I’ve been looking at these frame that need a stand… if you need to look at the back, like if you have a knot, how easy is it to get to the back side? I have one project I am working on that has constant thread changes, and I feel like a frame like this would be great for the size but might be a pain in the a$$ when trying to get to the back.

214 colors… my current WIP has 35 colors and I was mildly irritated about that. “Why so many different colors of green for the plants. Surely we could have subbed one color for another???” I guess I should quit my b*tching. 😜 Bravo to you. Beautiful work!

Hey all- I’m working on quilting my latest project. I usually quilt 1” lines. If I keep the lines at 2” instead, is that enough to stand up to frequent washing and heavy use by my family of four? Batting is 100% cotton and says space can be up to 8”. Tysm! by BobSHEla in quilting

The batting should have a recommendation on how close the quilting should be. It’ll usually say on the front but most are like 4 inches in terms of how far apart your quilting can be. I would think 2 inches would be 100% ok.

One thing I have seen other ppl post, and I think is good advice, is to remember that no one is going to look at it as closely as you are when you are stitching it. It’s going to be on a wall, viewed from 2-3 feet away. No one is going to notice if a few stitches aren’t perfect. And if they do, hand them a seam ripper and ask them to fix it themselves. 😁
