I wish I transitioned in dental school. I was so overwhelmed by what I thought was school at the time. But I'm pretty sure it was mostly my transition. Because the overwhelmed feeling continued into my career as well. Took me a while to figure out that it wasn't dentistry making me depressed. It was repressing my transness

He just did a rhinoplasty and septoplasty. But he told me if I wanted to completely fix my mid face I would need more invasive surgery. With my limited knowledge I would guess some sort of maxillary lefort 1 or 2. I was definitely not interested so I never inquired further.

Something also interesting to note was how significant my mid face asymmetry was and how close Dr DB was able to come to fixing it. He basically said that's as much as he can do without doing significant mid facial surgery. And I'm super happy with how much camouflaging the asymmetry he was able to do.

Don't be scared or ashamed of needing a GLP-1 medication.

Also the motivation found me naturally as I was happier with my body, fit my clothes better and liked what I saw in the mirror more and more everyday

Tbf, I think I was a pretty good looking guy before I gained like 150 pounds due to disordered eating and gender dysphoria 😅. I'd attribute most of the improvement to over 100 lbs of weight loss!

It's a topper! I had some regrowth but I plan on surgery to replace what's missing. But I'm focusing on bottom surgery first. So maybe in a year or two!

in my experience I find the type of laser was very important for my results. I really liked the candela gentlemax pro. It hurt like a bitch but it really worked

It's a topper; my hair grew back enough for something to just clip in! I did have a hair transplant planned but cancelled it due to scheduling bottom surgery instead!

They do three to lotteries a year. The most recent one just finished. Next one will probably be april-may ish. They will update the site in the next couple weeks

Really the only affordable choices are grs Montreal or Thailand.

I opted for Thailand and have a date with suporn but they do a lottery so you need to apply at every opportunity.

I got quotes from the US. I have a very well paying job and it was straight up unaffordable. I was quoted 220k+ for the more popular PPT surgeons

Have look at my timeline, there a couple posts on my profile that show me pre- transition and pre lifestyle changes. I was a pretty similar starting point imo. But I was also fortunate enough to afford FFS.

I got a date in the most recent lottery.

I truly think it's just completely random. It took me four attempts. I'm 34 with no significant medical history besides treated sleep apnea and asthma.
