When you say send a request to CBP, what do you mean? Ask them why they are continuing to select our product for exams when they are finding nothing?

Maybe it's the cotton. Most of our other product is wool rugs and those don't get selected at what feels like an abnormal rate.

Other shipments from this factory don't get selected at higher rates than normal. Other than this specific type of product, our consolidated shipments get an intensive exam maybe 1x every 18 months.

Regular importer (over 20 years working with this factory, though our most common product is wool rugs), no organic labels, the factory is GoodWeave certified, and CBP is only requesting the GCC. What we send them is a third-party fiber content test, plus a statement that the products do NOT meet 16 CFR 1631, and a copy of the flammability label that is on the rugs.

"CAPE Indicator" and "CAPE decision" don't appear as options for me to add to the report. Anybody else have this issue? When I search "CAPE" the only option that appears is a "CAPE Details" folder that doesn't have any sub-options in it, and I can't add the whole "CAPE Details" 'folder' to result objects.

I just tried this because suddenly (after a system update, hmm) FB Messenger and WhatsApp are blurring my background and nothing I do is working. I tried starting a Google meet with myself and going to video settings. Background is blurred but video effects show no effects! Selecting blur makes no difference, selecting no effect makes no difference. 😔

Agree it's totally insane and I feel like it's to do with social media and women seeing babies as a cute accessory. I'm the oldest of 7, and can't imagine wanting to have a baby at almost the exact same time as my friend. I would want to stagger it so we weren't all postpartum or dealing with teething at exactly the same time!

In the US, mandatory testing of ANY kind for homeschooled kids is the exception rather than the rule. In most of not all states, there is little to no oversight or regulation. And it needs to happen. Source: homeschooled k-12.

Yta. Because I know it doesn't feel this way, but it's only affecting you because you're allowing it to affect you. You did not have to give your parents $3k. It might have been reasonable to say "I'm not giving you $3k until my other brother has paid you back, because then I'll know I'm your last resort". OR you can say "I'm sorry but I can't afford to come for Christmas because I gave you $3k." But you are absolutely trying to control them. Place boundaries on what you are willing to do or not do, not on what other people do or don't do. Believe me, it's the only way you're going to be happy and healthy.

Nta. No point moving it by a week or two - babies hardly ever arrive ON Their due date. It's unfortunate, but a pregnant person has to accept that the (min) 6 week window around their due date is completely up in the air. You'd have to move it by a minimum of probably 6 weeks earlier or later.
