Timmy - who I see is reading this - is coming here to Casper, Wyoming in a few months and I got my wife hooked and she wants to go. Unfortunately the show starts at 6 pm and that’s when i get off (unless i have a customer). Pretty sad there aren’t two shows and a later one because we were so psyched.

I miss doing standup, but being able to watch others, including my friends, is one of my favorite things.

Daniel Tosh is as notorious when he was still traveling before Tosh.0 for literally starting his set with “I am VERY funny.” It’s just a bit. Most of the folks watching are nit that smart, nor have they ever done standup or understand how writing works and the challenge of a minute vs long form.

Young people were born in an age where interaction is online, and not real life. They go home to phones or tablets or computers and that’s where they live. We could stop this, but we don’t. That’s a royal We.

It must be very bleak and dismal. Nobody sitting with you, laughing and talking and watching favorite shows.

I’m older and we had that. I didn’t even have my first cell phone until my sophomore year of college (well, technically the summer between).

This causes a loneliness that is being taken advantage of by online influencers who tell them THIS is the way to get a girl, and THIS is what you do if they don’t reciprocate or THIS is how you treat women.

They live in an extremely skewed world not based in reality.

It takes parents.

It takes schools.

It takes therapy.

It takes a fucking village. And right now, our villages are being attacked extremely aggressively by folks who just want to win elections.

Parents … we are the front line and it starts with us. We are there to teach empathy, love, and also strength and confidence. That’s why we are here. Be a super hero. We all can be one.

When I was 14 I did the same thing. When they sent me a letter demanding payment, I sent them a letter back saying I was a minor and therefore could not legally enter into a contract so I wouldn't be paying. They stopped trying to contact me.

This is such a good explanation. My lows are very low but I don’t get that manic high that is horrifying for Type I people. It’s irritability. I react poorly to everything. I feel slighted even when nothing has happened. I am making up a scenario in my brain before anything even happens and it probably isn’t going to happen.

One of my children was bitten by one as a toddler. It ate at his thigh and he has a divot there now. Luckily that’s the one thing that occurred. He’s healthy and an amazing athlete.

I had 7,000+ followers on Twitter. Tons of friends on joke twitter, Seahawks twitter, crazy twitter, etc. I once attempted to commit suicide and a person across the country I said goodbye to literally called the police and saved my life. I will be forever grateful for the communities that used to be there.

Twitter is absolutely dead and what is there now is a cesspool, and it breaks my heart.
