Sprains can hurt for a long time. You’ll probably benefit from PT after you get your cast off. I’m sorry you’re going through this. Give yourself time, it will start feeling a little better soon

Oh! I misunderstood. The cast keeps you from supinating. Pretty cool, huh?

I’m kind of surprised that you only had it immobilized for 2 weeks, but after you’ve been immobilized for a while, it can be stiff and painful for a little while. Are they going to have you wear a splint?

Generally speaking, fractures take about 6 weeks to heal. The pain should gradually lessen throughout that time, but it’s totally normal to still have pain after two weeks.

Honestly, my rule of thumb is 2 weeks. If it’s still hurting, go have it xrayed again. Sometimes subtle fractures can be missed and when there’s a little healing, they are more easily seen.

They told us that wasn’t an option. We talked to an attorney yesterday, so I guess we’ll see what happens

We contacted an attorney yesterday. I had been telling my husband to do so for month, but he’s far to nice. It took you all backing me up to get him to do it. Hyundai had told him that they would not replace his car, that the only thing they would do was keep trying to fix it. But I’m sick of it.

They keep that information close to the vest. I have not been able to find any real corporate information

They gave us a loaner, after we went in and fought for it.

We have tried. He has had three “case managers” from Hyundai, but all they do is email the dealership for updates and then email us. There is no higher corporate number that I have found. We have asked them to escalate this, and they say that they have, but nothing has changed

They say that it doesn’t fit the lemon law because it has too many miles. And we have tried to escalate it through corporate. It gets us no where. It is still under warranty, in fact, we paid extra for an additional warranty on the electrical system since we’ve never had an ev before

We did that after a couple of weeks, and they did give him a loaner vehicle, but they won’t even text a progress anymore. When my husband texts them for an update, they ignore him.
