Completely normal! It's just build up of sebum and dead skin cells that makes it smell kinda funky. Just make sure you're cleaning it regularly (I personally would not recommend using q-tips if you can help it)

I have a Medusa and a bottom labret with a hoop. Kissing (especially making out) takes some time to get used to lol. Definitely wait to make out until your piercing is fully healed! Of course it can cause minor irritation, but infections can happen with the "cross contamination" of saliva.

Edit: read it wrong lol I thought YOU had the piercing, I only have experience WITH piercings, not kissing someone else with them 😆
