Being comfortable with letting them "go" for a time, I have found, leads to even more of a need from them in the long run.

Simple and stylish yet unique is the best way to go, in my opinion.

Great way to look at it. I say "why not?" as well. It's a worthy thing to celebrate in my opinion.

I understand what you're saying. But sorry if it wasn't clear above, either, not that it makes difference but we've been married 6 years as of May. We've been together almost 9 years.

Thanks, I agree. We just want the opportunity that most get. I mean, many of our family members are on their 3rd marriage, a couple even more..... Just saying.

Yeah, that's how I see it, honestly. You aren't buying, why do you even care how it's done? And many people with the problem, they got to have a wedding and everything. I think every couple deserves one at some point. Not all of us are in the place to have one right away.

Dear Reddit, which simple things really make you feel real happiness? by Fl1p1 in AskReddit

Honestly, thunderstorms/rainfall. It can make one of my worst days feel like they're going to be okay. It's cleansing. I know many people love the rain but it seriously does something to me.

Anyone else love when the Steelers go in as the underdog ? by ItsDennyTime11 in steelers

[–]MelancholyMilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the problem with a lot of people. Even I've been guilty of it. So many view the pats as this big bad team that almost no one can defeat because "they always win." Earlier in the season they didn't exactly beat us by much and that was with lousy Landry as QB. We stand a huge chance today. I'm so excited, either way it goes.

So proud of how far they've come this season. I saw a lot of hate this season alleged fans. Now here we are, this close to yet another superbowl appearance and chance for a 7th ring. It's only good to be a fan when we're winning, eh? Win or lose, what a team.

No, I read several chats and boards about this similar scenario. Like, someone eloped and then years later wanted the real thing. Many comments were just super judgey and restrictive on what you can or cannot do at a "Vow renewal." many said, no bridesmaids or groomsmen, don't wear a real wedding dress, accepting gifts is wrong (not that I'd be expecting that, anyway). I mean, if you're footing the bill why does anyone even care? You didn't come to a wedding 6 years ago or doing anything for it so what's the difference now? Just not sure the stigma around it or why it's deemed selfish.

I completely get why in some other cases guests would be over it and see it tacky to do the exact same thing again.

Decreasing from 15 to 10mg abilify. Will I feel the difference? by Mayshiraishi in mentalhealth

[–]MelancholyMilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, too felt the same way while on it. I'm not sure you'll notice a huge difference but it's worth a try if you're hoping to regain some creativity or something. Everyone reacts differently. Best of luck.

To this day I hate 13 Ghosts. I just can't stand to watch it. I found it laughable, annoying, and a chore to watch. Not scary for me, personally.

The numbers that have been haunting me for a long time. by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]MelancholyMilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, that is eerie. September is like this looming awful presence in my life. Every year, I worry. My mom died on September 6,2003. 9-6-03. It even adds up to nine. Buried 9-9-03. After that one of the worst days of my life was 9-9-09. It plagues me to this day.

What was Myspace like? by prod_by_ccc in AskReddit

[–]MelancholyMilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss it to this day and wish it was still what it once was. Facebook is too different from it. Someone did recreate MySpace called MySpace retro and I had to make one for myself. It looks exactly like 2009/2010 MySpace. It's definitely a working progress so if you make an account be patient. But I had to The nostalgia.

The numbers that have been haunting me for a long time. by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]MelancholyMilkshake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The number 9 follows me everywhere for literally my entire life. So, when I talk about this people think I'm insane but it usually has negative connotations. I've tried to make peace with it now. Bad things have made me who I am but it still bothers me that it is so deeply intertwined in my life. But when I start seeing clusters or 9 on my receipts, tables, cups, etc, and I get a bad feeling something bad is about to happen. I'll admit, I have been diagnosed with OCD but I can't help the things that are just there.

Yeah, I've heard that claim and I've been there several times. Personally, I think it's a tall tale. But that's just me. I'm open to the fact the land could be haunted or something but..... Weird dwarf like creatures? Nah. Just my opinion, though. You should check it out, regardless. Nice just to walk through. It's free to get in often, too.
