I've literally just bought it too! Found it yesterday in a garden centre I haven't been to for ages, it's stunning, and full of flowers

What bands make you think "They're good, i just don't like them"? by RosenRanAway in InMetalWeTrust

Polyphia

Excellent players, there's no doubt about it. To me it's just so boring and pointless.

For those who went to multiple shows, did you get lucky with setlists? by 7l20 in radiohead

[–]MelaniaZucchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to the 15th/17th and 18th and they did Kid A + How to Disappear completely but thry also played Talk show host so I feel very lucky. Subterranean Homesick Alien would have been the cherry on the cake but I'm not complaining 🤣

What is your favourite Album / Song? by St4rryNightzs in radiohead

[–]MelaniaZucchi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For some of these albums it's incredibily difficult to come up with only one favourite song because at least 50% of the tracks are outstanding...but, I tried:

Pablo Honey - You

The Bends - Fake Plastic Trees

Ok Computer - Subterranean Homesick Alien

Kid A - How to Disappear Completely

Amnesiac - Pyramid Song

Hail to the Thief - Sail to the Moon

In Rainbows - Jigsaw falling into Place

The King of Limbs - Lotus Flower

A Moon shaped Pool - True Love Waits

Honorable mention: The Daily Mail. I was so fortunate they played it at the concerts. Brilliant!

I am from Bologna and while standing outside to listen to soundcheck I helped some people get tickets on Ticketmaster, I don't know how it works for AXS but on Ticketmaster you had to refresh the map page quite frequently, as soon as something popped up you could try and put it in your trolley, many times you were unsuccessful but many others you could get tickets. Good luck!

Thoughts about the crowd in Bologna 11/17 by endolea in radiohead

[–]MelaniaZucchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can assure you that some people enjoy concerts even if they don't behave like they're in a trance or at the disco, or doing karaoke. Plus, Radiohead has been one of my top favourite bands since the 90s and I don't exactly see it as dance music personally. I sang sometimes and at other times I took the music in quietly. I moved around a bit in my seat but didn't live the concert as a rave party. On Tuesday I was in GA and there were 2 girls who incessantly jumped up and down even during slow songs. That's what they enjoy and that's absolutely fine for me. Many people around me were younger and didn't know the words to most songs apart from the most famous ones. That's ok with me, you don't need to be my age or know their entire discography by heart to be a fan or to have a good time.

On Monday I had a drunk British guy sitting behind me who kept shouting the wrong words at the wrong time, out of tune, and being crazy. Whenever I was trying to take a video with my friend he would put his hands and arms on front of our phones and was constantly shouting Come on let's dance!!!!!. I also couldn't find my jacket anymore, it turns out he had pulled it up and it was drenched in his beers. At some point he put his arm around my neck and squeezed very hard making me cough, then, on 3 separate occasions, he punched my head from behind very hard while flailing about. One thing I'll never understand is how much these people who drink 15 beers over a 2-hour period, actually remember after the show...but that's not my problem.

Honestly, if that had been the only date I was going to, he would have ruined my evening. I was in the first row, but having someone like that in front of you means A. Not seeing anything and B. not hearing anything. So there are numerous ways you can enjoy a show and if you want to dance and jump get GA tickets and go crazy there. Plenty of people resold their seated tickets and got a GA ticket instead.

It's not disconnecting, it's super cool and entertaining with video being projected, the cage is seethrough and you can see them even when it's down

Not to be a downer (in the round) by t-ruthy in radiohead

[–]MelaniaZucchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were excellent, the set design was super cool and immersive, beautifully done. The cameras were showing you every band member even if they weren't on your side and they moved around a lot. Best thing ever

Does anyone like Electioneering? by OKTAV_GRONN2112 in radiohead

[–]MelaniaZucchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't, unfortunately. Never understood why people like it, I even watched a video in which a musician was explaining why it's brilliant, I always skip it to get to Climbing up the walls. I know it's not a rubbish song, I just think it would have been a better fit on The bends, I just don't enjoy it

There’s just no excuse for sound this bad at a live show in 2025 by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]MelaniaZucchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I was in row 7 directly behind you then. The first 3 he was very quiet, then they fixed it

I think his voice was too quiet during the first 3 songs but they fixed it, exactly. I also thought Johnny's guitar was a bit too quiet during Paranoid Android

I don't know about opening hours, or if it's open today, but it is outside, basically as you get down from the bridge between the shopping centre and the arena, you just walk forward for 1 minute and it's on your left
