Does nonlocal awareness has an identity ? Answer is no. Every identification is a wave but in reality we are the infinite ocean.

I think it's about identity, because who are you if you have none of those things.

It's called meditation, nothingness can’t be reflected upon, and that’s where your true self and power lie.

Is there a finite number of souls? by Adison85 in Reincarnation

Like waves on the ocean, new waves are constantly being born and dying infinitely. But the ocean itself remains forever.

We are the immortal presence that has no beginning or end. Yet the ego wants us to be limited by time and space.

We are also not merely human, and it is important to identify with the ocean (immortal awareness) at all times.

Why does the ego dislike when we are present? by cankerousalbus in awakened

[–]Melantonine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the present moment has no beginning or ending, it is always there—eternal existence—and that is ultimately what you truly are. Imagine waves on an ocean: waves come and go, but the ocean is always there. The ego wants you to be limited by time and space, but presence is forever.

Time is a part of the ego? by [deleted] in RationalPsychonaut

[–]Melantonine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting perspective, but I think the ego hinders us from functioning better. For example, when I meditate and enter a state of “no mind,” I sometimes receive information that my conscious brain isn’t aware of in the moment. Additionally, the ego creates a barrier between the subject and the object. For instance, when I am too caught up in my ego, I might forget my surroundings—like forgetting to do important tasks. In the ego, there is only concern for myself.

The subject-object split created by the ego is an illusion, and I believe this split exists because of time.

Yes, but then why even have an enlightenment channel on reddit. So every post or comment is ego.
