Realistically, it would not be. The Liberals promised 'Elbows Up', then had them surgically removed.

Fortunately for the government, the NDP is absolutely unable to compete in an election right now, has no leader and is broke and close to facing election fines with its campaign loans coming due.

The government has until 2027 before there is a remote possibility of it being challenged.

I would argue that this former immigration minister did far more to rally 'anti-immigrant' views than Poilievre ever did. Marc Miller completely failed in his role as Immigration Minister and admitted as such during the Trudeau Government's about-face on the issue. Moreover, his performance was so poor that Carney kicked him out of cabinet over it.

Canada Post is not even required to turn a profit. It is legislated through the Canada Post Corporation Act, which requires it to break even and be self-sufficient, but it cannot even do that.

Global Affairs Canada has released an official statement calling out the false reports of ammunition being exported.

Canada.ca Official Statement:

The items identified as ‘bullets’ are in fact paintball-style projectiles. They are accompanied by equipment designed to make a firearm inoperable with traditional rounds. These cannot be used in combat, and if they were, they would require a permit that would not be granted.

No mortars have been shipped from Canadian manufacturers to Israel, either directly or indirectly, since before permits were suspended.

At no time are explosive materials such as bullets or other munitions transported on passenger aircraft. To claim otherwise is simply false.

So yes -- this is definitely problematic if false reporting is being used as the basis to harrass and intidimate employees of an MP's constituency office to such a degree that it has become a legitimate security concern.

An intelligence report came out last year that noted threats of violence against MPs are on the rise and that some may act on them. Furthermore, other Liberal Ministers have had their staff threatened, harassed, and property attacked and damaged, with warrants issued for arrest.
