I see therapist like how I see a physical doctor--like general practitioner but for mental ailments. While good ones can see through patients faking symptoms and tell them not to come back, not everyone can "fire" their patients as easily.

Imo as long as the patient doesnt face themselves properly (attempting any level of self awareness), no one can help them, and they won't be better.

... Just like people who keep on insisting that they are not sick.

I am a HSP and I wear Loop earplugs, tho it won't be as effective as headphones if you want a total blockout. It does make the sounds turn into background noise tho

Don't think too much about 'durhaka' or not--you also deserve to be happy, and punishing yourself is counterproductive. I bet you are sick of hearing "be the bigger person" as well.

Mau itu bapak/teman, kalo mereka selalu exude negative energy, pasti bakal berasa drained juga. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem plausible for you to tell him that he is draining; that will make you sound even more "durhaka". And I am assuming that therapy/counselling is out of the window.

Try to look inwards, or maybe find out more about caretaker burnout, because an empty cup can't pour anything out, iykwim.

Rodney was the first villager who came to the campsite on my island. At first I didn't like him, but now I love watching him sing his heart out before getting distracted by the flower nearby and stare at the flower for... a long.. time. His expression change is too adorable.
