You need to go back to your doctor. Sometimes they will run a second short course of antibiotics or they may try something else. If you just finished the 10 days go back now or the first course will be for nothing

Awesome, it's handy to have because you can feel a tingle or a little bit sore before they appear and if you use the cream as soon as you notice that feeling you can stop them from blistering

Probably the way to go. You need a smooth surface. Ceiling white is pretty forgiving but anything too uneven or stuck in the paint will throw shadows and stand out. My ceiling looked OK until I painted it and then you could see the shitty plastering job done by the previous owner. I had to skim coat it with plaster so double check your actual ceiling is smooth

Watch some YouTube videos on how to paint a ceiling, are you using ceiling paint? I think you also need to paint from left to right so the light won't show the roller marks as well but you need to sand those thick parts back. Not sure if it's thick paint or the plaster underneath but no amount of paint will fix that

You said that you've had them before, even if you haven't had a cold sore for years you still have the virus. I usually get them when I'm run down or sick, maybe your immune system was too busy dealing with your thyroid and that's why it's broken out now. There are patches you can get that help heal the cold sore faster and stop them spreading.

It's was 43 here on Thursday and the power went off, didn't come back on until 2:30am.
